Welcome to Flock! Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the app.

1. Use of the App

Flock is for personal, non-commercial use only. Please use it as intended and legally. Automated bots or unauthorized use are not permitted.

2. Age Requirement

You must be 13 years or older, or the legal minimum age in your country, to use Flock. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

3. No Medical or Mental Health Advice

Flock is a tool for emotional connection and support, not a substitute for medical, psychological, or mental health care. If you are in crisis or need professional help, please contact a qualified healthcare provider or use emergency resources.

4. Accounts & Data Entry

You may voluntarily provide information such as your name, location, and emotional check-ins. You may check in anonymously at any time. You may update your information or delete your account at any time in the app's Settings. No GPS tracking or collection of precise location occurs. You may provide a made-up name or location for additional privacy.

5. Location Map Feature

Flock displays approximate location only (e.g., city or region) on a world map to foster community connection. The map cannot be zoomed or scrolled to reveal exact locations. Your specific address, coordinates, or identifiable location are never collected or displayed. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

6. Intellectual Property

All Flock branding, features, and content are owned by Flock or properly licensed. Users may not copy, distribute, or misuse Flock content.

7. User Behavior

Be respectful. Harmful, abusive, or offensive behavior may result in account deletion. Users must not post personal contact information (phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc.).

8. Linked Content (e.g., YouTube)

Flock may provide links to public YouTube videos or other external content. These videos are not owned or created by Flock and play directly on the original platform. All views and credit go to the original creators. Links may stop working if content is removed or changed.

9. Account Deletion & Control

You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete Account. You can also change your information, opt for anonymous check-ins, or disable location sharing at any time.

10. Data Usage & Anonymity

Flock collects aggregated, non-identifiable data only (e.g., "500 people checked in as anxious today"). No personal identifiers, including geographic specifics, are collected or displayed. Data is used solely to display trends and improve user experience.

11. Transparency & Feedback

We are a new app and care about your experience. If you notice anything missing, unclear, or concerning, please contact us. Your feedback helps us improve.

12. Changes & Termination

Flock may update or discontinue features at any time. Continued use indicates acceptance of updated terms.

13. Limitation of Liability

Flock is provided "as-is." We are not liable for damages, bugs, outages, third-party content, or user behavior.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
